Question about scent?

One pair of my hunting boots have been out in the garage for awhile now, and the other day my brother did some spray-painting in there and there were lots of fumes. Will spray paint fumes spread onto my boots if they were out in the open? I smelled them and I couldn't smell anything. Also if it did smell them up will the scent go away by hunting season? My summit stand was in the garage too but it was double garbage bagged so that should be ok. Thanks-Sam

RE: Question about scent?

I wouldn't worry about. I would just make sure that I wore them in the woods a few times before I went out hunting. That's all.

Where them in the woods a few times before the season. Give them a good scrubbing with baking soda and rinse them off and you should be good to go.

RE: Question about scent?

Ditto what Titleist said...baking soda bath and scrub brush works well.
