treestands for big guys?
 

I am going to get a new stand for this fall. I want a climber and prefer Summit. I was wondering if a viper would be ok or should I go to the goliath? I am 6' and 275#. Lets hear from other guys that are "healthy".

At 275# I'd get the Goliath. You'll be over, or very nearly over the limit with gear on the 300# limit stands. If you're like me, you're not shrinking with age either ;)

I agree with mr. fritz I am 6'4" 290 I tried the viper but the goliath suited me much much better. You will be happier with the goliath.

If that doesn't work out, i think Buckshot(might have changed names) makes a buckshot magnum stand that is huge for bigger guns. Its alot heavy but it has a solid bar instead of a cable...good luck

Definitely the Goliath. Though not the same weight as most of you big guys I am still in the 240 range so, eventually, I am probably going to need to look at one myself. ;)

I am 6'7" and weigh between 285 and 300 and the goliath is the one that you want.
