I am curious to see what you guy's opinions are on if deer can
see white fletching and arrow crests better than other colors?
The reason why I ask is I just purchased a dozen CX arrows with
3 white fletchings and white crests. I was shooting at a local archery
shop and this guy came up to me and asked if I was going to shoot those
same arrows hunting and I was like yes. He warned me not to because
he stated deer can see the color white really well. Is their any truth to
this?

Been using them for years, with no problems so far. I've seen people shoot totally white arrows and white crested arrows too.
I thought it was blue that a deer could make out.

I hardly doubt that fletching color will be the diffrence between getting busted and getting the shot. I shoot florescent orange and green fletchings. I'm not at all concered that the deer will see me. There is a better chance of getting winded or busted for movement than the deer spying white on your arrows.

DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT THE DEER ARE GOING TO SEE THE COLOR OF YOUR CREST WHEN IT IS TRAVELING AT 265 FPS.
NO I DON'T THINK SO, WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR ARROW NOCKED WHEN YOU'RE ON STAND, I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT THE DEER ARE EVEN GOING TO SEE YOU LET ALONE YOUR ARROW CREST. WHEN YOU ARE SITTING STILL 20 FEET OR MORE IN A TREE THERE IS NO WAY ON EARTH THAT THE DEER IS GOING TO KNOW YOU ARE THERE UNLESS HE SMELLS YOU OR YOU MOVE. I WOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT IT CAUSE I PLAN ON HUNTING WITH WHITE CRESTS WITH BLACK AND WHITE BARRED FEATHERS.

I doubt that it will effect deer but you never know. Why do you use white anyway? I use all black usually. I don't like this cock vane stuff either, they have nock indicators for a reason
If you were bear hunting its a big deal but not really deer hunting, but it cannot help you.

I use 3 white feathers, white crest and hunt no higher than 12ft off the ground and my bow shoots 184fps-never had a problem with deer picking up on them.

You can see it can't you? If you can, you can bet your inheritence that they can see it.
