The Bock Target
 

I shoot PSE Carbon Force 200's at about 250 fps. I shot about 450 shots into my target and I am shoting through it. I use field points. Total weight is 300 grains. Has this happened to any of you? What should I do?

Yeah a Block target is nice Zak. They hold up well, I have a bunch of shots on my $59 portable style and I'm shooting quite a bit harder than you are.
Broadheads tear them up pretty quickly but field points are OK.
You might also look at a decent bag target from Morell. Arrows pull even easier and you can just replace the cover when you shoot it out.

Sorry Zak, I thought you were looking to the Block as a replacement for your current target.
Which model Block do you have? How long have you had it?
The center of mine has softened a bit over time but I haven't shot thru it yet. I tend to spread the shots around a bit. One at each spot or I place a small sticker or piece of paper in an unused section and shoot at that.
The only problem with shooting the edges is that the target tends to spin at impact.

I'd recommend you try a Morrell bag target.......let it hand freely on a frame. You can make a very cheap frame out of PVC pipe. They last a very long time, and like I said you can replace the cover when you have it worn out. Just spin it around and shoot at both sides evenly.

Still got the reciept? Take it back or contact the manufacturer. Can't believe it would wear out that fast.

For field points the block works very well. It is also good for limited shooting with broadheads. If your shooting through already I think you need to contact the mfg. Are you sure you have the "block" and the the "HOLE". I had the HOLE and found out why it's called that. After a week and found a "black HOLE" my arrows would dissaper into!

I've had the same problem you are having and i had to re-band the target--another option is to shoot at it on a slight anlge so you aren't shoot straight thru the open layers(in between the layers)

I have the same problem with mine...shoot right through it. Had to use my bag target as a backstop for the block[:'(]
If I were to have another one it would be the biggest ont they make, actually I take that back...I wouldn't have another one. This one was a huge waste of money.[>:]
