Seriously though, as the others mentioned it is probably just the deer shedding its wintercoat. I have been finding considerable hair in the woods for the last month or so....but hardly any antlers....:(

My daughter took the picture below. We have found several areas on our property just like this. I really think the deer are just sheding the winter coat as we have not found any dead deer in the area.
