Mathews Black Max II
 

Hello trying to find some black max shooters out there, just got mine it will be arriving in a couple of days, i shot one at a dealer and really liked it, just seeing what anybody else has to say about it.

Good Choice...

I picked up my new Black Max 2, three weeks ago. I have shot about 100 rounds through it! I did a lot of checking, data collecting and info gathering on all brands makes and types... I came to the conclusion that this was the bow for me...

So far, there isn't a bad thing about it!! I put the Muzzy Zero Effect drop away rest on it and that was a drastic change also... Now I can cut my arrows down 2 1/2", from 31 to 28 1/2...

In a full hunting situation, I set the bow at 65 lbs. and I was zipping arrows at 285 FPS., after I cut my arrows down. I should gain about 4 FPS or so... So around 290 is definately fast enough for hunting...
