Picked up my son's bow friday

Darton Fury 2003 model. The dealer had a left handed model left over so we worked a deal out on it. Big problem he hit a knock on his third shot and has done it a few more times since then. Any suggestions??[8D]

Buy a bag of knocks? Sounds like that Fury is a stright shooter.
Good Luck

5 arrows - 5 spot target,

seems simple enough.

I just picked up my boy's bow a few weeks ago. A Browning Mirage 20-30#. He is seven and can't stop bugging me to shoot. I gave him my spare release and after shooting with it the first time he said "that thing I don't like it's too much trouble". Who knows I guess he'll be a finger shooter.

I thought 35#s was the min for deer hunting. He could only pull 20 so I couldn't buy the 30-40# bow. Someone at bass pro told me 30 was the min in most states. Anyone know? I suppose it's in the hunting regs but I don't ever seem to read them.

I am not sure where you live but I believe the minimum draw weight in PA is 40 lbs.

CharlieP,

My suggestion is to get a new bow. Shooting that kind of accuracy might lead to outshooting his dad....;)

He's 13 been shooting since he was 5. He out grew his bow last year and I couldn't afford to get him a new one, so he didn't shoot for almost a full year. He saved up $125 toward this bow shoveling driveways and picking up cans off of state land we walk on.

PA, I'll just accidently cut his string if that happens.[8D]
