Fletching jig
I keep busting my fletchings with other arrows. What jig would you recommend and where could I get it? I shoot Carbon Force 200's.

RE: Fletching jig
Arizona e z fletch is simple to use for repairs and would suit you pretty well. Give one of those a try.

I use a jo-jan multi-fletcher, can do 6 arrows, 1 fletch at a time, easy to use and setup, adjustable for straight/offset and you can get helical clamps for it.

RE: Fletching jig
I have a cheap BPE economy jig and its fletching my pse carbon force 300's very well.

RE: Fletching jig
You can get the JoJan that fletch's 6 arrow's at a time but I like the Arizona as well. I'm going to pick up some Easton Axis s/t's and the Arizona won't work on them from what I understand .

RE: Fletching jig
I use a BPE for a specific reason. The helical on there claps are harder then any other clamp. The harder the more spin, the more accurate. Cheap to. I have a dozen set up. They are not as good as a Bitzenburger, but not bad for half the cash.

RE: Fletching jig
I use a Grayling Fletching Jig from Cabelas or any other archery website. $25.00 for the jig with either a straight, R or L helical clamp. Not a bad price and works as well as some of those out there for 3 to 4 x's the price.
Fletch tite will run you around 7-8 bucks as well. Some of my best fletching jobs were done on Carbon Express arrows. |
