I always take three.....2 snypers....1 spitfire...my quiver only holds three, so I bring 3 .....when I "have to" shoot at small game, I use a hunting arrow...it's kinda expensive....last year I lost 3 arrows..for a total of....$50ish...not really worth it....

I've always carried 6 but my new quiver only hold 4. 4 is plenty unless you hunt with david and len and then you might just shoot a half dozen deer. In which case 4 isn't enough.

Nobody in their right mind would only take one broadhead. You could be confident as all get out, but still wind up needing an arrow for a finishing shot. No way I'd ever allow myself to be in that situation.

I carry 3 or 4 broadheads and 2 blunts/judo points, or 3-4 blunts/judos and 2 broadheads - depending on whether I'm hunting deer or hogs and want to be prepared for small game, or hunting small game and want to be prepared for deer/hogs. ;)

If I could, I'd carry so many that I'd look like a dang porkypine out in the woods. I emptied my quiver one time at three deer during a rain storm. Dang arrows flew funny as my fletchings and string siliencers were saturated in water. Realistically I carry 5 arrows tipped with 125 thunderheads. My quiver can hold 6 but the fletching will hit each other and makes noise when I shoot. Good luck, Bobby ;)

That's too funny. Somedays things go that way. I did the samething in my early years. I only had 4 arrows and had to get down a collect my arrows and climb back up. I did finally drop one that day.

My quiver holds six and I fill it up with arrows that shoot the best and have all been tested with my broadheads for hitting the bullseye. I've only ever needed one but it is nice to know that I have extras. Someday, maybe I can arrow an elk and then a deer on the same day.

Just got an 8 arrow 2 piece and plan on filling it completely with broadheads. Never needed that many but I'd rather have them and never use them than need them that one time...and not.
