Treestand Straps
I just got my Summit Viper XSL yesterday and on the safety harness all of the straps hang down. Will these interfere with my bow? Thanks

RE: Treestand Straps
I'm wondering the same thing. I recently bought the Cobra. I've practiced out of it a little without a problem with the straps. I've only got to hunt from it twice without a shot, but I figure if I do have a problem, it'll be while I'm trying to get a big porker to start bleedin'.

RE: Treestand Straps
The only way to really tell is climb up and shoot a couple of arrows. You don't want to be worrying about it this fall when the big guy come down the trail.;)

RE: Treestand Straps
Mine do the same thing so I just tuck the straps in just to be sure.

I agree with VAhuntr, just tuck em in to be sure. I've never had a problem.

RE: Treestand Straps
By all means get in the tree with it on and see if it is going to interfere with your shooting. If it does then either tuck the straps in somewhere or secure them so they are not flopping loose. Maybe electrical ties or large paper clips will work. Whatever it takes to get them secure, so you don't miss your shot or make a bad shot and wound your deer.

RE: Treestand Straps
I just bought a viper also. the guy that sold it to me told me to get some velcro straps for that very reason.
