A little Advice:

Check over your equipment from time to time.

I just found a crack in the fork of my bottom limb. This is the second cracked limb with this bow. Last time (about two years ago) it happened, I heard a pop, this time nothing.

I'm having a hard time dealing with it this time, and it may be time to turn to a different brand, since my confidence in this bow has dropped considerable.

I got an Elk trip planned for the end of August, and this was going to be my main bow. Kinda puts a dent in things a little.

Great advise Bobco , I'll add check your cams modual screw's , they are notorious for backing out at just the wrong time .

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years ago on my PSE. I don't shoot during the winter, so my bow had just been laying idle for 4 months. I don't know a ton about the workings of a bow, so I always take it into my shop every spring to have them give it a once over and they found that one of my risers was cracked somehow. Thankgod they caught it. I could have pulled back and had it blow up in my face. Good advice to anyone for sure.

I was whitetail hunting in Montana 2 years ago. On the last night there I came in soaking wet and set my bow down against the wall until I could get my wet clothes off. It was the only cold day of the week. I left my bow there while I was changing. At the same time the outfitter turned on the heat for the first time that week. My bow was close to the radiator and boom- there goes my lower limb. And I didn't get a deer.

This is a perfect time to upgrade and get ready for the Elk hunt. What better excuse do you need to getting yourself a new bow ,it couldn't be better timing. could it ?

Parker Feather Mag II

Nubo, you're right, it is time to get another bow. But I was ready with my setup for the Elk hunt.
