martin jaguar

i looked at a martin jaguar today for my son it's a 55-70# bow with adjustable modules 25" to 30", looks like a well made bow, light and it's actully pretty quite and fast. does any one have any input on this bow before i go and jump on it? normal price is 329.00$$ for the bare bow,the dealer will sell to me for 239.00 it's last years model and wants to move them.. any input would be nice.
again thanks..

Martin makes a very good bow. Reliable and durable. I have owned 3 and never had the first problem with any of them.

I have one and love it. I couldn't be any happier with it, I'm getting decent speed, it's very light, and the short ATA is great. It's deffinately a great hunting bow.

I had a Jag with the Fuzion single cam a few years ago. But I was at the tail end of my short lived infatuation with single cam bows, wound up wishing I'd gotten the dual cam version instead and sold it. The Jaguar is really a very decent bow. For the price you quoted, it's an excellent bow!

I have a Martin Jag with the Fusion cam. I love it...especially for the price.I asked the guy at the pro shop last week why more people don't shoot them...His answer, "Marketing..or lack thereof." The only thing to keep in mind is that finding a string can be difficult. They don't carry them on the shelf anywhere I have seen. But if you call Martin direct they will send you an extra. Good luck...Martin is a great bow. Especially for tree stand hunting.
