Pope & Young is for animals killed will archery equipment.
Boone & Crockett is for animals killed with firearms.

pope and young is bow only. boone and crockett accepts about everything except bow. gun, road kill, deer died of disease. nething besides bow. at least i am pretty sure that is how it works. i know for sure boone and crockett allows road kill on their and deer shot by gun.

P&Y is archery only and the minimum is 125" typical, 155" non typical. B&C is any animal that is found dead, and includes any legal means of harvesting that falls into their terms of fair chase. The biggest difference is B&C minimum is 170" typical and 195" non typical. Archery kills can be submitted to the B&C book.

Yes, archery can be put in Boone and Crockett. Pope and Young is strictly archery though. Boone is for those monster animals you hear about.
