Elk Mystery Deaths

Anyone heard of something like 300 elk deaths in Wyoming. Someone was talking about this at work saying they don't know what is killing the elk.

Could be the "mad cow" disease....read that it could affect other hooved animals....i.e. deer, elk, moose, cariboo etc.

He might have been refering to something he heard from the paranormal Radio show, Coast to Coast. They had a guest talking about it for a good portion of the show. That was a few nights ago but I assume that he heard it from that talk show.
