found shed
 

I did a little shed hunting yesterday and for the first time I found a shed while looking for one. Also happens to be my personal best. Brow tine was boke off, but the other points measured 9 1/2 10 & 7 inches. Not a lot of mass but I am looking forward to seeing him under a new stand next year. This shed was found in a heavily hunted area that I seldom see anything more than a 2 year old buck so it was quite a find to me.

I haven't found any sheds yet on my property in 4 years, 160 acres- mid Michigan, but I did find the carcass of a nice 9-pointer.

:) Nice going kansaswiderack! I have been out twice and the best I could do was find an ol' bone. I am planning on a hunt today because I have a day off to just screw off. Ground around my parts was bare until last night when we had a dusting. I hope that snow will help my eyes pick up a dropped shed. I know one thing, just like hunting, it's a hell of a lot more enjoyable than working.
