Gonna give the Shakey Hunter a try! Question

I've read most of the feedback on this rest and have decided to give it a try on my Hoyt MT Sport.

My question is this. Should I spend the extra $30 and get the micro adjustable or should I save the $30 and get the standard one? I am not a target archer.

Just Bowhunt.

Thoughts?

RE: Gonna give the Shakey Hunter a try! Question

The advice I read looked like it just pertained to the Shakey Hunter set up on Bowtech's. Are you telling me that I will face the same challenges on my bow?

I may have missed something but that is what I took away from Rack's comments. I didn't read anything about the same issues on other bows.

Sorry 6ptsika, I'm not willing to go to the WB. I know I have read plenty of good things about them, I just for some reason can't bring myself to shoot through something to get to the target or the deer. I know I'm gonna get "slapped" for saying it and I don't doubt it is a good rest, but I wanted to try a drop away.

I have had similar problems on other solo cams I set up as well. So many say its great though - I sometimes question either my sanity or others ability to set up a bow - with the race being 50-50 at this point:D:D

The rest is a super solid good rest - I would hate to steer you away from it, if it would work on your particular setup. So I won't.;)

Just remember - E-bay is there for a reason - just incase..............:D:D

I have the standard Shakey Hunter on an '03 UltraTech that was easy to install and tune. Hunted in the mountains and the trees and in all manner of weather, last fall no problems.

I'll give it a shot and see. I hope for the best. :)

Back to my original question. Should I spend the extra $30 and get the micro adjustable or should I save the $30 and get the standard one?

I'm getting one or the other so don't try and talk me out of it ;););)
