Trap Door

Have any of you fellow Bowhunters ever see or use the trap door dropaway arrow rest? I now use a Quik tune 3000, but Im thinking of going to a 4 fletched arrow with a right helical for more arrow stability. I shoot a Champion Stinger 70lb 55-75 goldtip arrows with 4" straight feathers , 100gr muzzys.

I shoot the trap door and have only one small complaint. Be careful with the allen heads when you adjust the launcher arm. Mine stripped and had to get new allen heads. Other than that its all gravy!! Enjoy it it is a great rest.

Got mine before last season and have NO complaints. It has worked flawlessly so far. Only took 5 shots to get it shooting bullet holes. I recommend it to all that I know.

I was using one for about a year with no complaints. The only reason I am not still experimenting with it is because I sent it to a friend who was in need of a new rest for his bow.

I have heard mixed reviews of it though. For some reason some of the models just "stop working" for no apparent reason.

I put one on my Legacy when I bought it and it would work fine for 3-4 shots and then lock-up on me and not drop. Well after a couple of weeks working on it and then taking it back to my proshop I traded it for a Quik Tune 3000. I can't reccomend it but if you are wanting a drop away rest there are plenty of other ones to choose from. I'm getting ready to put a Muzzy Zero Effect on my bow.

Over the last three years, I've had one on my Legacy, LX and now my Outback without any problems at all. No strings or cables to hook up to your bow. IMHO, a very good drop away rest.
