Takin the trophy ridge back

after several days of playing with my new trophy ridge sight, I'm taking it back and getting a different one. I feel like the pins are still leaning left. I got out my engineers scale and measured the distance from pin to each side in 60th's of an inch but it seems to be equal. From there I figured that maybe it was possibly due to torque. So... I played with the adjustment and to no avail. I know that there is no problem with the riser and now I'm out of options. I am going to get another of the same sight, and hope it works out. Anyone have any other ideas about what could be going wrong? thanks for the input.

Did you check where the site housing is bolted onto the sight bracket to make sure it is a perfect 45 degree angle? If not loosen the bolts and readjust. Try that.

Shouldn't that be a 90 degree angle?

Hi dwd
I'm kind of mistified .Can't see what your explaining.I have a metal matrix. It sounds as if the sight housing needs losened and moved.
There are ,two allen bolts that fix the housing to the elavation bracket.
If i see my pins not inline then i move the sight housing.
I would like to see you try again ,there great sights ,but if your not comfortable then i to would search for one you do.

Was wondering if you use a sling or shoot open handed?

robinhood: I still like this sight and i really want to make it work. The allen bolts that you are referring to are what i called the "torque adjustment" I did adjust those a few times, but there didn't seem to be any change. The pins are properly aligned as i see only the front. but they still appear tilted to the left. I am trying again..I promise.

Coyote: I will be shooting with a sling, but eh one i ordered won't be here until monday, could that have an effect?

Thanks guys for your time.
