RE: Draw length adjustment question (Hoyt cam & 1/2)

I was told the same thing by more than one Hoyt dealer as well as a couple of guys on the board, so I tend to think it's true.

I was also told by the proshop owner to buy a bow in the middle of my draw lenght.
I also bought a Hoyt XTec. I have a 29 1/2" draw so I bought a bow with a draw range from 27.5" to 30.5"
Good luck with your new bow. I love mine.

RE: Draw length adjustment question (Hoyt cam & 1/2)

You have a good dealer. He has given you the best advice you can get on the Cam 1/2 system. The bow will have a smoother transition into the valley and will tune better in the middle. It will also provide better speed than shooting on the lowest setting but not as good as on the top setting but all in all,the middle is where you want to be.

Most dealers will just sell you the bow that they have in stock and forget it.Good to see you have one you can trust.

Yes sir-rreeee bobbie... Go with the dealer. Bottom end of a draw range sucks.
