Some bows I use a loop & some I don't both ways shoot good. I think in general the loop makes tuning easier especially if you like to use a fallway. As far as hunting I used a loop th elast 2 years & had no problems hooking up for the shot. Just sounds like your pro shop has his opinion & wants to push that off on everyone. He could state his facts & still set up a loop for you if that is wat you want.

intersting. I recently just put a loop on my string and I love it. also tell him this... if your draw is 29" and you add a 1/2" with a loop how in the heck does it make your draw shorter???
