RE: Timberline crosshair sights

I've never used that particular sight, but I used to use a cross-hair type a until few years back. When I switched to a fiber optic pin type it took me awhile to get used to it. It seemed like with the cross-hair that I was automatically on target without having to think about getting the "dot" on the spot. I think it was because it was easy to visualize the cross-hairs in the center of my peep.
I'm fine with the pins now and won't change back, but it did throw me off for awhile.
But then again, I wouldn't mind seeing what the Trophy Ridge looks like on my bow. The idea of the pins coming up from the bottom vs. the side interests me.
I say go for it and let us know how you like it! Good Luck.

It is not a real durable site, but the cross hairs are easy to see. I personaly like pins much better. I hunted with a fine line cross hair site for several seasons, the only problem I had with it was difficulty in seeing the croshairs at last light.

I have never used one, but I think they now make the Fine Line cross hair sight with fiber optic lines. It seems to me that I saw them in a Cabelas catalog a while back.
