Grim Reaper Broadheads

Just wanted to know if anyone else was using Reapers, and if so what do they think of them?

If you are using the ones with the Trocrazor point, they are a good head. I'd stay away from the ones that first came out. The ferrule was hollow-like and did not stand well up to impact. The newer body style is solid aluminum and probably as strong as the Spitfire ferrules. If I was shooting a mechanical head again, I would go back to these.

I've heard they had issues with quality.

I used the reapers last year killed three deer and had to use a diffrent broadhead each time. The ferules still seem to be weak as they all bent.
My brother used the G5 montec's and killed 2 deer and a turkey using the same point, I think the price is about the same.

The ones I tested a while back were good heads. They open fast and do what they are made to do. The bodys could be stronger, but they still hold up fairly well all things considerd. I look at most mechanicals as one shot deals anyway.
