Mecanical Blades??

RE: Mecanical Blades??
i have never had a problem with rocket sidewinders. they are awesome and leave HUGE blood trails even on bad hits. i think they are better than fixed blades. i get awesome penetration. i spine shot my first buck and the whole broadhead went into the backbone just like the muzzy bad to the bone picture. The buck i shot this year, entered a little high but went through the other shoulder blade but not a complete pass through. I would def recommend trying them

i believe fixed blades dont get as easily bent up like mech. i do use only vortex 2blade heads love-em. if they get bent or dull just by replacements blades.always make sure your blades open up easily before using they should just fall open by rolling the o ring down..
i get great penetration and great blood trails,no complaints and no lost deer.these heads work great for my set-up.

It all depends. You sure don't have to worry about your blades opening on Fixed blades. If you do use mechanicals you have to be drawing quite a bit of weight and and KE. No they are not better then a fixed blade, but they might fly better, thats it.
