Morrell Humungo

I saw this target on Cabela's site, looks pretty nice. 30 bucks for a broadhead and field point target. Does anyone have this? How does it hold up?

Hey jeff,

I don't have one, but the shop that I got my MightyMite at last year did and I got to shoot that target a good bit!

First thing first, the thing is HUGE, simple as that, it is just big! Okay, with that out of the way!!!!:D:D When I was shooting it, the target was around 3 years old and it was showing it. The center section was a big crater! It was weird looking, almost like some had taken and carved a bowl in the center! Well, I shot the target with my MightyMite at 30" draw, 70#, I forget the exact arrow weight, but I remember that I was shooting the arrow in the 290 f.p.s. range! THat was with a bare string (except for a tied in nock), so I am guessing that the arrow was somewhere around 450 grain, so that thing was putting out a ton of power. Never once did I get a pass thru on the target.

Arrow removal wasn't bad, it wasn't as easy as a bag target and not as hard as a 3-D target. It was easy to pull arrows out with one hand!

The target was LOUD when it was hit! It sounded almost like a .22, but that was in an empty shop so that could have something to do with it.

Its a great target in my opinion!!
