Not to state the obviouse , but would'nt you remove
the broadhead bolt from the cbow, THEN switch tips............:D

For those who do not know. There is an easy way to unload a crossbow. It's called reach up and take the bolt out. They slide right out just like they slide right in. And then fire it. Most will only let the string travel about an inch so as not to get a complete dryfire.
As pointed out, there are about a half dozen game law violations here, not to mention maybe one ethics. Was the guy "road hunting" so didn't want to unload? Or maybe just uneducated. It's stupid things like this that casue accidents and then we all get a black eye for it.
