HEY ALL!!!!!
 

hey everyone her at hunting.net!! i just joined and i am looking in at bow hunting, i hunt with a gun now but a few of my friends go with a bow and i think i might want to get into it but i dont know what do do can sumone give me the jist about this???:)

I would go to the local bow shop, get a used bow and shoot it a whole lot and get books and read up on them and aquire a basic knowledge of bows and how to hunt with them. I started out by my self and thats how I did it. I still have a whole lot to learn though! Good Luck!

You will get a lot of good advice from the many knowledgeable people on this site. The best and most common advice is going to be to go to local proshops and ask for their advice and input. Also use your buddies to help you (that was they way I learned - had a friend that was very knowledgeable and got me started on the right path and is still helpful). Go shooting with them, see what they do, ask questions, read magazines, and then read more magazines & ask more questions. You will get inundated with info, which you will have to sort through. This site is a goodplace to start and get questioned answered.
