Thats how all bow shops ought to be! I know a shop or two, where if I brought in a bow in that condition, and being a bit older model, they would have told me "Buy a new bow!" Thats great!

Last time I got my string and cables changed it cost me $65 bucks. You did well. It's nice to hear positive stories. Thanks for sharing.

You can't buy the materials for that. The guy is short changing himself. I hope he doesn't do that all the time or he won't be around long. Remember him the next time you need some arrows or whatever. Catalogs may be cheaper but you really have to take care of those who take care of you. He has to make a profit sometime so don't begrudge him when he tries.

Yeh, I figured you must or he wouldn't have been so nice to you.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I didn't mean to sound like a preacher. I owned my own business for 30 years and I know how people can be. You get it, .... some people don't. They think the business man is there to give it away at all cost. They just don't understand the cost involved. If you don't take in a dime you still have to pay the $6,000 a month rent for 2,200 square feet, make payroll for 15 people, pay matching social security, unemployment insurance, $750 for property insurance, $2,000 for utilities etc etc etc every month. Good month or bad month... those cost are pretty much always there. After you get through that you start to take some home..... you hope. And then some jerk will walk in and tell you &quot; So and So&quot; is 5 cents a shirt cheaper. Why are you so high? And as you punch in the computer he says he'll try you because &quot; So and So&quot; is always ruining something or can't do it for 5 days or he doesn't get it clean. &quot;Did I tell you I want this tonight&quot;? I'm serious... it never ceased to amaze me. I made up my mind about 1973 that if I was going under it wasn't going to be because I was the cheapest and not getting paid a fair price. I ran about 3 sales in 30 years but did have some coupons once in a while. The guy after the bargain, I told him I wasn't the place. I hardly ever had someone walk out. I know,,... I'm preaching again.
