Keep them in a scent free container of bag. No cover scents or anything in them.

yeah I just throw them in those scent lock bags and store them in the big storage tub things with the lock lids.

If you use the tubs, which by the way are very usefull, you should clean them out REALLY good, they stink of plastic[X(][:'(][:'(]. I use the scent free bags that are made for this purpose;).
Also dont over wash the clothing, they will wear out fast[:o]. I dont wash them but once at the beginning of the season, then dry them maybe twice a year if they are used often to reactivate them.
