Putting a camera near a feeder.
 

Where do most of you mount the cameras? I have a automatic feeder and I am not sure if I should mount a camera under the feeder. Won't the corn shooting out set the camera off.

my camera is infrared camera so it needs heat to set it off. check and see if your camera is infrared or motion activated. i have mine on a tree by a pile of corn. only problem is that i had the timer on 6 mins and a group of 7 doe were eating and i only got one picture of them. i am not sure if the flash scared them away or what

set mine up on feeder all the time as its a good way to get head count and it has never been effected by it. just set timer on a little longer or you will shoot a whole roll on just a few deer. i usually set my delay on 1 hour at my feeder.

I put a pile of corn about 20 feet in front of the camera. I can set my camera for 1 or 5 minute intervals, usually I set it on 5. It is a digital.

depeding on what camera you got. I got a stealth and they recommened minimum at least 10' away from target area and about 3' high. I tried it and got very good pictures. w/ good quality. good luck!!
