Bow Case?

What type, kind, or brand of Bow Case do you use? If I get a Mathews Outback, which one should I give serious consideration to? Airline approved is a big plus in case I ever make it to the Milk River in Montana or South Texas. Thanks for your time.

SKB has a bow case made for VFT style bows !! I can't remember the model name !![8D]

I have had a SKB single bow case for 6 years and love it........it wasn't designed for the VFT style bows.............but my Outback fits in it !! I had to trim a little bit of foam off the rear edge .....for the string and supressors to fit properly !! It works .........and I didn't have to get rid of my favorite case !!:D

All SKB's are airline approved, waterproof, and virtually indestructable !!!

Is it the Roto Mold? It was designed to fit Matthews and Bowtech Bows. Here is a link to it.

I will be getting this one soon. Looks pretty awesome!

I have an SKB and my Pat DC just fits. I have a bit of trouble fitting in if I back off the limbs. If your bow will fit, SKB is a great case.

A nice soft case is better for airline travel than a hard case. Airline monkeys tend to throw and are purposely hard on hard cases because they can "take it". They are also put on the bottom of the pile in the belly of the plane.

I use an SKB soft double bow case... same case that Mathews sells w/ their name embroidered on it. It's a very nice case and has lots of storage.

Also might want to take a look at the new Brownell and Aurora soft bow cases.

I personally don't like the bulkiness of the hard cases.. esp for everyday/normal use. They are very bulky and hard to manage. I almost bought one of the Roto cases from SKB.. but it was a pain to operate.. and REALLY bulky.

I have the Plano .....Bow-Max I think it's called. Here is a pic.

I like it, but I don't like it at the same time. I like it because my bow fits int he case with the stabilizer on it. It's nice because the bow is locked into place and can't move. However, in order to lock it into place, it can be a pain in the A$$, especially when you hunt once int he morning then again at night. I have not traveled with it(airline), but I imagine it wouild be just fine. It is approved airline safe. I think it's worth a look.

I have a couple of the Flambeau cases. I like that they have two internal posts to help against being crushed. I haven't run over one yet, so can't say if they work or not. :)
