RE: Metal string loop. HELP
[8D] zack123: I use a metal loop myself and have been very pleased by the performance. Not many folks use them but I for one would recommend their use as long as you buy a quality loop and have it installed professionally. In the meantime, until your pro shop re-opens, just shoot the ol' fashioned method, attach release to you server set-up.

RE: Metal string loop. HELP
Bees: What a great list! I agree with all of them. Losing a little draw length is worth the benefits of a loop. I used to have those little metal horsehoes on my bows, but the string loop is lighter, more adjustable, cheaper, and doesn't clamp a flat spot on your serving.

RE: Metal string loop. HELP
Go with the nylon string loops instead, i bought the metal one before and not only did i have the same problem with the release thing, also it would not stay tight and would move up the string, went back to the string loop and never had a problem again.
