Just wanted to share the joy!

A robinhood is a testamate to excelent grouping. Sounds as though you shoot very well. A couple more of those and I bet you start putting arrows in diffrent areas on the target. My target has 3 diffrent bullseyes on it and I now make it a point to shoot one arrow at each. Keep up the good work and if you plan to continue to shoot like that I'd recommend buying some stock in your arrow manufacturer.;)

Congratulations! They definitely are exciting. Some folks go a long time without ever shooting one.

[8D] Just sent an APB to Pike County bucks warning them that Robin Hood's flame, Lady Marion is armed and dangerous. Lay low boys, there a sharpshooter ready and willing to enter Nottingham Forrest.

hunting,

I am unconvinced that you are truely trying to share the joy. I believe if you were truley trying to "share the joy", that you would invite myself and a small group of friends up to Pike Co. for a little bowhunting;):D

Congrats on the robinhood! I haven't had one in a couple of years but then again, I don't shoot two arrows at the same spot anymore either:D

Robin hood- When you shoot one of your arrows into another one.
Nock- The very end of an arrow. You place the string in it.
Fletching- Feathers or veins. Right under the nock.:)

Nice!!! I never shoot at the same target. I have five little one on my target. When I do I just ruin my arrow. I either break the nocks, tear the veins, or just bend the arrows though.

RE: Just wanted to share the joy!

A robinhood is when you shoot an arrow and it hits exactly inside another arrow, which when you look at it, it looks like one long arrow.

A fletch is the feathers on the arrow which help stabilizes an arrow in flight, usually have 3 feathers, and some arrows you will see 4 fletches.

Nocks are the small plastic pieces that are forked shaped either inserted over the arrow or inside the arrow behind the fletches, the nock helps hold an arrow in place on the bowstring.

Welcome to archery/bowhunting !!!!!!! :)
