help with bow selection

I'm 45 and am getting back into bowhunting after almost 30 years. My problem is I'm right handed but have to shoot left handed because of an eye injury when I was young.I'm used to shooting left handed with a gun and have hunted since I was 12.What compound bow would you recommend? My price range for the entire setup can't exceed 500.I'll probably need about 80 percent let off.I need a bow that I can practice with every day,and hunt whitetail in about 9 months.Thankyou for any information you can give me.

RE: help with bow selection

Congratulations on choosing to get started this early, many shooters try to get set up for hunting a week before season. Notice I said shooters-not hunters. Assuming you want to shoot a release you can actually shoot a right handed bow left handed with a release. Awkward, but possible. What I'm getting at is you should go to a local shop and see what they have to try out. With a little help you could try several bows and get an idea as to which one to buy. Many shops sell different brands and you could at least get close to the draw weight and length you need in several models and brands.
