FUTURE BOWTECH SHOOTER!!

I don't know if I can post this but what the hell. I found out on Friday that my wife and I are having a baby!! I'm so pumped. My other two are fighting on which it should be my daughter wants a sis. and my boy wants a brother so he can pick on him:D. The only drawback is its due on SEPT.25th hunting season starts here on the 13th of that month. I told my wife that she'll have to call me over the radio to let me know when she's ready to go;) and then guess what happened next? Yeah thats right I got the book thrown at me:D I told her that I was just kidding;). My brother in law will be happy another future customer that ol'dad will have to shell out money for thier hunting equipment. But who cares, only good will become of it. But seriuosly GOD has blessed our family again and I could not be any prouder or happier.

RE: FUTURE BOWTECH SHOOTER!!

Congrats!
My daughter was born on opening day of bow in WV 3 years ago. I was up at the farm hunting....my wife was 2 weeks away from her due date. She went into labor really early that morning, and by the time I actually got the message (long story)...I darn near missed it. Showed up at the hospital with about an hour to go...in my camo's:D
She wasn't upset though...SHE told me to go hunting..."that there was no way the baby was coming yet...and not to worry about it" . LOL...typical

The good thing you have going for you is that you already have kids. So it's not a totally new thing for her. She'll probably let you go. I know if I didn't have a son already, NO WAY would she have let me go. Congrats again:)

Putting hunting in front of your family is very selfish in my opinion. I dont have a family yet but it just naturaly sounds selfish. Sometimes its hard to put the bow down, but to see something like that is awesome. No offense if the wife is ok with you not being there. But I wouldnt miss seeing my child being born for anything! Good hunting.

Thanks guys!!Matt I feel for ya, But I figure that the grandparents love their grandkids, maybe then I can make my escape[&:];). I'll post when I get a digital camera(getting one soon). I've been at both of my kids birth and it was the most amazing thing. The first one (daughter) came out easy and looked so petite and slender like a ballerina. my boy was big and broad shouldered (he's my football player).
