Sometimes its as simple as setting up where others don't.

Many an old, cagey buck has fallen to that tactic. I've always believed that mature bucks pattern us hunters much better than we pattern them. With that notion, you must break the traditional pattern and like RA said, set up where no one else hunts.

Here's an example, on the property I hunt, we have an old camp where everyone sleeps, eats, etc. Generator running 24/7, people talking, trucks atv's etc. I decided to set up one morning right behind the camp, I talking about 75yds from the camp. That morning I saw 5 shooter bucks and took a nice 130 class 8pt. Those bucks were not expecting anyone to be hunting in that area, I broke the pattern.
