Arthur doesnt even have training wheels on his bow . Last year I shot 60 lbs with a 480 grain arrow , going to light'n my arrow by about 100 grains this year . Sounds like you got a good dealer , thats a good deal .

I gots training wheel bows too. About six of 'em. And one ain't even a Hoyt![:o]:D

Mathewsarcher, I'm not trying to hijack your thread. You want opinions as to whether you should spend $150 and trade in your bow. No matter how many opinions you get, you're going to make the call yourself. My opinion, for whatever it's worth, is that there is not enough difference in performance to go to a less forgiving brace height.

The feel of the cams is entirely subjective and I put very little stock into opinions about 'smoothness'. One guy says Cam X is smooth as silk, but I pop 5 hernias pulling the same bow... Makes you wonder what the heck the idjit was shooting before that made him think THAT piece of junk is smooth. ;)

Only way to decide if the switch is worth it to you is to shoot both bows, side by side.

On my primary compound: 67-lb. DW w/542 grain 31-3/4" shaft. A 30-yard shot, if I choose to shoot, is no sweat. When that log slams home, good penetration is a given and I swear there is a bit of hydrostatic shock. :)

I would rather swing a broadsword than a flimsy fencing foil. :D
