garage shooting range?
 

i want to shoot in my garage, i only have about 6 yards. My question is will this have a negative impact on my longer range shooting or my equipment in any way. if not im pumped. thanks

The distance that you shoot will not affect your long range shooting, although, bad shooting form will. Therefore, make certain that while shooting at 6 yards you concentrate more on your shooting form. If your not sure if your form is good or bad, go to your local archery shop and ask an experienced archer to observe you. Good luck.

No it won't hurt, you will find shooting that six yards you will be very steady and accurate. You will also find that you can use your 35 yard pin or there abouts for that distance. It seems the pin motion doesn't show up for some reason..
What to watch out for: have a backstop behind that target because at that short range it won't take long for the arrow to be sticking out the back of the target right into to the wall.. been there done that:D

I shoot in my basement at 9-10 yards on a regular basis. It should have on adverse affect on your shooting gear...though the form issue previously mentioned should definitely be taken into consideration.

Oh!after you have shot at that short range for awhile. don't be alarmed when you preceive more pin motion when you go to 20 yards lets say. Just let it float and trust that you will hit the spot..
