Buying a Fletching Jig and Equipment

Hey everybody!

Just wanting to know if anyone can give me some answers. I am wanting to buy equipment to fletch my own arrows. I usually shoot arrows with 3-4in fletchings. They have a 4 degree offset. What kind of jig and clamp do I need and what if I want to fletch a helical or straight? Is there one that can do both? What kind of glue is there? Other than glue, jig, and clamp; what else might I need?

I have 12 Bitzenberger jigs... and normally use the Rt helical clamp w/ a slight offset on most arrows.

Other items you'll need:
Acetone (to clean off any glue or oily residue)
Denatured Alchohol (to rinse the acetone and clean the base of vanes)
Goat Tuff Glue (seems to work the best for fletching and inserts on carbons)
Hot melt (if you're doing aluminums)
shafts
fletching

If you plan on doing lots of arrows... I'd go to the hardware store and get you one of those 1/2" or 3/4" square grid tiles that they put in ceiling grid. Cut it in 1/2 and you'll have a great drying rack.

Bitzenburger! I use the right helical clamp with a slight off set on all my shafts. Ditto to what KBacon said about the other items. Never tried the tile but thats a good ideal, thanks.
