Biscuit, NAP tune....what do you like?
Bought a new hoyt this week and I'm pretty excited. I'm somewhat torn as to which arrow rest I want to put on. I've heard good things about so many. Please et me know what you like and why. thanks for the info in advance. I'm not trying to spend more than about 60$ maybe that will help. Also any sight recommendations?

The WB is an excellent rest provided you use the right fletching and trim it up a bit. NAP makes some really good rests as well as bodoodle and of course golden key. I just put a Muzzy zero effect back on my hunting bow. This is a great rest as well, but a bit out of your budget. a Golden key rover, Nap quicktune or bodoodle bullet would be good choices depending on what arrow shafts you want to shoot.

RE: Biscuit, NAP tune....what do you like?
The main function of a rest is to hold your arrow in position. Virtually all do this adequately. Some have nice micro adjust features that make it easier to get your arrow into this position. Personally, I haven't found this to be extremely important. Once I get my rest adjusted, I tend to leave it that way. Center shot doesn't change and I make most vertical adjustments at the nock point.
The other funtion of a rest is to secure your arrow, to keep it from falling off. At the same time, it is helpful if it keeps the arrow from making noise. The whisker biscuit excells in these areas. It not only keeps the arrow in place at all times, it cushions it against making any noise when bumping something with the arrow. This can be very important to a hunter. |

If you are going to hunt with the bow I would put a whisker biscuit on it.

The way I look at it is if you just bought a new bow then put the best you can on it and to me that is a MuzzyZE I have two bows and both have it and I wouldnt change if it was free.

GKF TKO sounds like just the ticket. I picked mine up for $36. It's very solid, easy to adjust, and the price was right. You can set it up as a drop away, standard style, or spring steel launcher.. it's up to you. So far it works great for me.
