RE: new Broadheads?
Why not wait for a bit to make your selection. I saw some pictures from the ATA show that had some new offerings in broadhead design.
The one that interested me the most was the Montec HS. It essentially looked like a standard Montec with wider and more tapered blades. My guess is that these will address some of the noise issues when shooting at higher speeds. |
RE: new Broadheads?
Id say any quality fixed blade head by muzzy, thunderhead, rockymountain, wasp, or steelforce...Ive tried alot of heads and found that if you hit them in the right spot the broadhead will do its job.

RE: new Broadheads?
;) Thunderheads have never failed me. JMO, but they sure cut ribs like the butchers saw.

RE: new Broadheads?
I don't believe there are that many bad ones out there anymore. Pick one of the major names and tune em up. Put em where the need to go and they will work...

RE: new Broadheads?
My new Muzzy 4-blades 125's are awesome!!! and the lock blade design is superior to not having to worry about the blades wobbling around on impact. Make sure you use practice blades before hunting though.;)
