I've been trying the last couple of weeks to fill my fall turkey bow tag...little tougher than spring hunting and colder, too!
I leave in a few days for Arizona to hunt whitetails (coues deer) with my buddy,so I've been busy packing, shipping, and getting my bow ready. Wish me luck...I'm gonna need it!

RE: Anybody still hunting?
I was out Dec 31st and had a doe and 2 fawns in front for an hour, but I'm not interested in breaking up their family I can wait till next season for that buck. If a doe had come in by herself I might have taken her.
The wind was heavy and it was snowing hard. Severel times I couldnt see them and they were only 30yrds away. I was truly surprised that they would be out in that crappy weather. I wouldn't have been there myself but I was bored at home and needed to get out. I'm glad I went out now because now I know that deer will be out in that sort of weather .
