RE: Passing on a buck??
I don't draw either.
However, I will say...that it helped me ALOT to do that when I was first starting out bowhunting and having some buck fever/confidence problems. I would draw on any animal I could, settle the pin and count to 3. It did wonders for me mentally...and helped me to learn when to draw and when not to. Of course I still screw that one up occasionally;)[:-] |
RE: Passing on a buck??
I don't physically draw on the animal, however I do go through the routine mentally. Picking a draw point and the release.

RE: Passing on a buck??
I don't draw either. For practice I take a couple of extra BHs and, just before I get down, do a scenario on a leaf or twig and take a couple of shots. I have learned a lot doing this. I got this tip from someone on this board.

RE: Passing on a buck??
;) Set and scout that boy for the future. Also, I have had the occasion of a big boy or two following some younger bucks. I could be wrong but most of the times I've observed it the big guys were acting pretty aggresive and kinda shooing the younger one along. That's why I suggest you sit and wait. Be prepared for that follower or two.
