Whistle Pig Hunting With a Bow
Heres something i like to do for practice, well i live in Idaho and i like to go out to the barren grounds, and shoot whistle pigs, Now this is great practice as you get in tune with your shooting skills because of the up and down elevation, Now if the elephant hunter would have been shooting whistle pigs last summer, i doubt he would have missed the elephant at 15 yards.

I like to bowhunt groundhogs too. I used to do a lot more until I got into high power airguns. Now they take up a lot of my off-season time.

I grew up hunting those things just about everyday. By the time I was 13 or 14 I had scraped together enough trapping money for a scoped 22 and a new English bicycle I had them all killed around home. I then started venturing out on the new bicycle. I used to ride for miles all day riding, sneaking and whacking those things.

I am not sure if we have groundhogs out here but we might. I'll be looking into it. I am looking forward to getting my first bow kill.

I don't think you do Redhawk. You may have a marmot which is close. If you can't find any shoot a Yuppie or a pervert.[:o]

RE: Whistle Pig Hunting With a Bow
I think a marmot is a yuppie whistle pig that likes to live around big rocks. Watch those arrow tips now!! [:o]
