1 st bow kill
 

got my first deer w a bow this year, and wow was it exciting. just a small one, but who cares...does that thrill ever go away, i hope not...

It hasn't gone away after many bow kills. I find a great satisfaction with every one. Also there comes a point where the hunt is more important than the kill. There is so much more to learn from bow hunting. It is a close range game. Congrats on your first bowkill. You should be proud.

i agree totally, there is much more to the hunt...i love sitting in a tree, w all the leaves falling around me, maybe it is snowing, maybe it is clear w a bright sunset, geese honking all around, squirrels littering the ground, even saw an albino groundhog this year....what a great year it was, too bad this is the last weekend.....

That's cool pasquel. The first one is great. Congrats. I still have that feeling after many kills. Like Elkcrazy said the hunt becomes more and more fulfilling. And tasty.

the first deer thrill hasnt left me yet , and that was 25 years ago, heres hoping you never lose it . congratulations

Congrats! I also am waiting on my first kill...this season is getting near the end in FL and college is starting back up and I doubt I'll be able to get out a whole lot more this year :(
