Getting ready for next year...
Ok, the season's ended, but I'm still hunting, well strategizing for next 10-1...
I want to make a few equipment changes, like buy a new release, but need to sell my Scott Mongoose first. Where do you guys sell stuff? I'm really not interested in the whole E-bay auction stuff, just wanna give someone a good bargain so I can try something new... Any ideas? |

Hey Rangeball I know what ya mean about looking foward to next year. THer isn't a day goes by that I'm not thinking about hunting whitetails. As far as selling your release. If you happen to be a member of North American Hunting Club you could sell it on the clubs website on the classified board. I'm sure there's others but I don"t know of them.

I generally hang onto stuff till it wears out. Even when I want something new...the old one is usually not worth anything. Try a local archery range or club.

TRY GIVING IT TO SOMEONE LESS FORTUNATE---YOU KNOW THE GUYS/GALS THAT WANT TO GET INTO SHOOTING/HUNTING BUT CAN'T GET OVER THE FINANCIAL OBSTACLE.----JUST A THOUGHT---I FEEL BETTER WHENEVER I CAN HELP SOMEONE GET INTO ARCHERY.JMO.

RE: Getting ready for next year...
I have already got my new hunting arrows fletched up, new strings and cables on my bows, and will be out in the morning pulling stands and preparing a few more sites for next year. Around my house their are only two seasons, Deer season, and waiting for deer season!

RE: Getting ready for next year...
Speaking of fletching...I need to do some myself. Thank you for the reminder...:)
Rangeball, Several of the archery related websites have classified sections. Huntingnet.com has their auction section though I don't know how much traffic it receives...and even though you don't appear to be too fond of it, Ebay is the place to go to sell used archery equipment. I do like the other suggestions though...give it to someone who may be just starting out with the archery scene....it will sure make them happy. :) |
RE: Getting ready for next year...
ask your local proshop to sell it for you. if you spend a lot of money there most will let you sell something at their shop.
