should I Go in the morning?
 

It's going to be about 1 or 2 degrees in the morning and I am wondering if the deer will be moving or if they will stay bedded down. The wind is going to be 10-12mph. I can hunt a corn field or I can go into the woods where there is a valley and the deer are mostly out of the wind.
WOULD YOU GO OR STAY IN BED????

The deer don't get to come inside so you know where their going to be. They burn more energy when it's cold just trying to keep warm so food is very important to them now.

I agree with the midday thing . Ive genraly seen deer 9:00 am or later when its cold like that out , so drink your coffie first and get warmed up . The deer allso seem to like open sunny areas more when its cold out , just like your dog lay'n in the sun .

1. Do you already have any in the freezer?
2. Do you stand a reasonable chance of seeing deer?
3. Is there a huge buck that you are still trying for?

It'd take a pretty darn good reason for me to go out in that cold.
