land leasing
 
i have lost my hunting land again so im going to try to lease some land for next year i was wondering what the going price is for hunting land

Sorry to hear that BigX. I've got 180 acres leased in McClain County and I paid 5$ and acre for it. I think that's a little steep, but location was the key for me. The lease is literally right across the street (gravel road) from my house. I've heard of land out in Western OK going much cheaper than that as far as $ per acre...but the leases seem to be in bigger chunks so the $$ is still not chump change.

Assuming you want to stay in OK I'd check the newspapers. I noticed several ads for leases in the Oklahoman before the season and even well into it. You've got time. Good luck.
