How can this place advertise having 2004 MATHEWS LX?Seems a couple months early doesn't it?

just talked with a pro shop about the new mathews bow for 2004, he said they will be in by mid january. maybe the guy is taking early 2004 orders. it doesn't sound like they are changing the lx this year, i'm glad i waited for 2004 models.

I shot a 2004 LX last weekend. Seemed early to me too, but that's what the man said. Then again, I don't know if I could tell the difference between an '03 or an '04 anyway. Pricetag said 679, just in case you were wondering.

That's kinda what i was thinking about--how would you know the difference between '03 or '04 models?Are they really '04's?

That'd be a slick one wouldn't it? Don't depreciate the '03s, just pass them off as '04s.;) I think the only way I would be able to tell is to call Mathews with the S/N and see what year's model it is. I also think the reason they are getting them earlier is the fact that it doesn't look like there is anything different about them, so there would be no "suspense" factor in holding them from shipping.

If they didn't change anything what makes the '04's worth anymore than the '03 model?'03's should be cheaper, so why not get a year old model that is exactly the same--but for less money?I'm thinking they are trying to sell year old bows as 'hot off the assembly line'.jmo.
