Gun Season Over....New Huge Rubs...
 

Well gun season ended this past weekend, and it's back to bow hunting. So I return to my fav. spot on Sunday to look over everything and there are fresh rubs running all the way down a point and several on the ridge. Note, these rubs were not there on Saturday afternoon. And these rubs are very easy to see considering they are on trees 7-10 inches in diameter.

Could this be the same brusier I saw back in gun season??? Or a bigger buck???

Sounds to me like you are in the right spot! Any idea what time of day (or night) it happened?

I had the same situation like this last year. I didn't shoot a deer but i seen some rubs and evidence of a bucks hideout. There was actually two monsters in the bedding area, but a ten pointer was killed there this year by a neighbor.
