RE: lighted sight
I've tried using one of those Cobra lights in my sight. It is an added light, and once again it is available in Red of Green. I didn't find it to be much help through and removed it.

RE: lighted sight
In Missouri it would be illegal to use battery powered lights for the sights, although we can use fiber optic, or light gathering devices, we can not use lighted sights. I don't know about NY, but maybe you already know?

RE: lighted sight
Actually, I bought the light for practicing indoor. Since the range I was shooting in used incandencent lighting and my pins were not lighting up. I have no idea what the laws are here in NY concerning this. I didn't light the light and took it off so there was no need to pursue it.

BobCo: Any lighted device is illegal in New York. If you have it on your bow in the woods you will be ticketed.

RE: lighted sight
Archers choice makes one called the the Flame. Like NH said if you use one and kill a Pope and Young buck it won't count in the books.

RE: lighted sight
Trophy Ridge has a new lighted site that is P&Y accepted. It uses one of those plastic tubes that when you break it and the chemicals mix it lights up.

RE: lighted sight
Thanks for the info David, but like I have said, I wanted to use it for the indoor range, it didn't work well for me and I haven't used it since. Not worried about getting ticketed.
